SF food festival

Last Saturday I went to the annual San Francisco food festival. It is somewhat similar to OFF THE GRID but much bigger and more festive. If I'm not mistaken, there were almost 100 vendors in the event. By far my favorites are the dungeness crab in devil's egg and the chicken larb.

Change is good

After months of comtemplation, I finally decided to color and cut my hair. I found this top-notch salon in Burlingame called Le Rouge through a referral of a co-worker. She recommended Christina as the hair stylist and I couldn't be more happy that I listened to her. There's something about change that lifts my spirit and makes me feel good during the transition.

I had this Curry Chicken salad from STACKS for lunch. For those who are suckers for salads this is definitely the place for you. They have a huge salad portion and I guarantee you will leave feeling filled and relatively healthy.

Summer's last hoorah!

Saying goodbye to Summer is such a hard thing for me to do. Autumn is setting in which leads the way to my least favorite season. Except for the holidays, I am not looking forward to the three and a half months of wet, pitch black days by 5pm, gloomy weekends, freezing mornings, icy winter cars and I can go on and on.

I feel like I'm playing a tug of war with my desire to make my hair lighter and with my apprehesnion of what's going to be the outcome of it.I have done it before, actually many times but it has been awhile.
